Digital Forensics Technical Lead, Technical Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our international digital forensics company based in Santa Barbara,Ca.  This position will be responsible for providing technical support for our government and private clients, training for our products, support for product integration, various product development functions and software project management.  This person will interface directly with the president and sales manager and must have strong communication and written presentation skills.

If you are a creative thinker, awesome communicator, familiar with digital forensics and have a strong technical background, we want to talk with you.

Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in a computer-related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• 3+ years experience managing technical teams
• Experience with software development projects
• Experience with forensic techniques and the most commonly used forensic toolsets such as FTK and Encase
• Thorough understanding of chain of custody procedures, forensic lab/kiosk best practices, and evidence handling
• Ability to troubleshoot and patience to see customer issues to resolution
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Great attitude!

Preferred if you:

• Speak Mandarin Chinese
• Have international experience
• Have product development experience
• Have experience with mobile forensics technologies for cell phone data analysis
• Have computer security/digital forensics certifications such as EnCE, CCE, CISSP
• Experience with programming languages (C/C++,Python)

What you will be doing:

• Offer technical support to our government and private clients
• Train domestic and international clients on usage of our products
• Provide support for product integration projects involving hardware and software
• Work with our international team to channel product development to fit our customer-base
• Develop plans to internationalize hardware and software and carry these plans through to completion
• Source product components
• Communicate with all sides of our company to align priorities and understanding
